Once when on a train, I passed a building. All the windows were broken.  But at the top there were curtains blowing out of the window, as if there were a storm on the inside of the building. I am very interested in the blurring of the border between inside and outside space. It recalls the way we look at the world, existing in space at the same time as we carry around our inner lives. In many of these pieces, the outside world as landscape is contained on the inside of these houses so that they both hold and exist in the world at the same time.
